The device was originally produced under the name IPT-1, then, according to the new GOST, it was renamed to L2-1. It is designed to quickly determine the suitability of low-power transistors and measure their basic parameters. Power is supplied from 2 KBS-L-0.5 batteries with a total voltage of 9 volts. The dimensions of the device are 210x150x90 mm. Its weight is 2 kg.
