Astra black-and-white television receiver.

Black and white televisionsDomesticThe television receiver of the black-and-white image "Astra" was developed and released in a number of copies in 1958. The Astra TV is housed in a well-designed case with rounded corners and a light plastic trim. The case and trim are in harmony in color and design and give the TV an unusual look. Chassis design and el. the TV circuit, with the exception of the addition of the local oscillator setting indicator on the 6E5C lamp and the DC amplifier on the 6Zh1P lamp, are similar to the Champion, Salute and the like TVs. The TV uses a 43LK6B kinescope with a beam deflection angle of 110 °. The speaker system consists of two elliptical loudspeakers of the 1GD-9 type, one of which is installed on the side wall of the case, and the second on the bottom of the case. When the TV is installed on a table, a flat pseudo-horn is formed under the kinescope with an outlet directed towards the viewer. In the lower part of the front panel of the TV there is an optical indicator of the local oscillator tuning for fine tuning to the TV channel. The main control knobs are located on the front panel, they are a volume control and a switch, a tone and contrast control, and on the right side wall of the case there is a TV channel switch, a local oscillator setting and a clarity corrector knob). Auxiliary handles are located on the back of the case. The main parameters of the Astra TV correspond to the Volna TV. Dimensions of TV 465x435x405 mm. Weight 23 kg. For various reasons, the TV did not go into production.
