Black and white televisionsDomesticSince the beginning of 1953, the television receiver of the black-and-white image "Zenith" has been produced by the Moscow Radio Engineering Plant. In terms of the electrical diagram and design, the TV does not differ significantly from the "North" model of the 3rd modification. It is designed to receive television programs on any of the 3 LF channels and local radio stations on 2 FM subbands (66 ... 73 MHz). The sensitivity of the TV is 600 μV for the image, 350 μV for the sound and 250 μV for the radio reception. Horizontal clarity 450 lines. The output power of the amplifier is 1 W. Power consumption 190 W for TV reception and 100 W for radio reception. The TV set is assembled on a metal chassis and enclosed in a polished wooden box with dimensions of 645x470x455 mm and weighs 30 kg. The TV has 17 lamps and a 31LK2B picture tube. When receiving radio, 8 lamps are used. On the front panel of the model there are 7 double knobs, except for the range switch. There is a scale along the edges of which there are inscriptions of channels and radio stations. When enabled, it is illuminated to indicate the selected range. There are also two loudspeakers located here. The knobs for adjusting the sweeps, the linearity of the vertical scan, the vertical and horizontal frame size are brought out to the rear of the chassis. The mains voltage switch, fuse, antenna and pickup sockets are also mounted there. The TV case has a removable metal bottom that allows access to radio components, assemblies and installation.
