MP is designed for high-quality recording on a magnetic tape of mono or stereophonic programs, with their simultaneous or subsequent playback or listening with the help of stereo headphones and an external amplifier with speakers. The model has an electronic-logical system for operational control of operating modes, which allows them to be switched on in any sequence, except for the mode when recording phonograms, an electronic control system for the magnetic tape tension and the rotational speed of the leading motor; mixing of the signal from the microphone input with the signals from the inputs of the pickup, radio line or tape recorder is provided; synchronous recording and playback, i.e. simultaneous recording on one channel and playback on another; rewriting signals from one channel to another with level control; recording mono programs with echo effect; simultaneous playback (mixing) of 2 separate mono programs on the left and right channels. MP has auto-stop, reverse, auto-reverse, rollback, allowing in playback mode to return to the previous program bypassing rewind and temporary stop, allowing to stop the tape in the pauses of the recorded programs. The MP provides for; tape consumption counter, light indicators of the main modes, remote control for switching on, recording, reverse, pause, playback, forward and backward modes.
