Electric player `` UP-1 ''.

Electric players and tube electrophonesDomesticSince 1952, the "UP-1" electric player has been produced by the "Elfa" Vilnius plant. In connection with the release of LPs, the Elfa plant organized the production of turntables designed for ordinary and LP records. The first such device was the UP-1 universal player. The turntable has two rotation speeds of 33 and 78 rpm. The first of the speeds is used when playing LPs, and the second is used for LPs and ordinary records. The turntable is equipped with a lightweight piezoelectric pickup with adjustable weight. It is necessary for playing long-playing records, but even when playing ordinary records, it wears them out much less than other "heavy" pickups. The player is assembled in a plastic box with dimensions of 400x295x160 mm. EP weight 7.5 kg.
