The radio receiver is assembled on seven transistors according to the direct amplification scheme and was produced in several design options. The receiver operates in the CB range (186.9 ... 541.4 m) and is powered by two 3336L batteries. The receiver was turned on (until 1978) by rotating the horn to the edge of the `` disk '', then the volume control combined with the switch. Since 1978, the plant has been producing the Echo-2 receiver with a more modern element base and a slightly modified circuit and design. Since 1979 the plant has been producing the Echo-Olympic receiver similar to the Echo-2 model. Price of models: 13 rubles 90 kopecks (Echo-2), 19 rubles 70 kopecks (Echo) and 24 rubles (Echo-Olympic). The Olympic variation was often referred to simply as "Echo".
