This is a copy of the experimental Parus-214S tape recorder from 1986. The tape recorder "Parus M-213S" is designed for recording and playback of mono or stereo phonograms, has a universal power supply, battery or through a remote power supply unit. The tape recorder can work in a stand-alone version as a monophonic one for reproducing phonograms through the built-in speaker system or in a stationary version as a stereo one with two speakers. The speed of pulling the magnetic tape is 4.76 cm / sec. Operating frequency range on chromium oxide magnetic tape 40 ... 14000 Hz. The rated output power for the own speaker is 1 W, for the remote speakers 2x1 W, the maximum output power is 2 and 2x3 watts, respectively. The dimensions of the tape recorder are 343x283x115 mm, weight is 4 kg. Since 1989, the plant has been planning to release the Parus M-213-1C tape recorder with parameters somewhat worse than the Sail M-213S model, but at a price of 280 rubles instead of 260. For some reason, the tape recorder did not go into production.
