Orpheus-101-stereo electric player.

Electric record players and electrophones on semiconductorsDomesticThe Orpheus-101-stereo electric player has been produced by Izhevsk EMZ since 1983. The 1st class electric player "Orpheus-101-stereo" is intended for reproduction of gramophone records from mono and stereophonic records of any formats, together with household stereo-complexes of the first and highest class. The EP is powered by a super-low-speed motor with electronic adjustment of the disk rotation frequency and magnetoelectric heads with a diamond needle GZM-105 or imported VMS20EO-MKII of the Ortofon company. The EP has a stroboscopic device for controlling the rotational speed of the disk, a roll-off force compensator, a downforce regulator, as well as a microlift that provides automatic and smooth lowering of the tonearm, with the electric motor turned on and the start of playing a gramophone record and its smooth rise at the end of playback or accidentally turning off the electric motor. The electric player has a quasi-sensor switch for all operating modes. The disc rotation speed is 33.33 and 45.11 rpm. Knock coefficient 0.15%. The nominal range of reproducible frequencies is 20 ... 20,000 Hz. The output voltage is 4 mV. Crosstalk attenuation between channels - 22 dB. The rumble level is -60 dB. Background level -63 dB. Power consumption 30 W. EP dimensions 450x450x150 mm, weight 11 kg.
