The tape recorder is based on the design and case of a tube tape recorder with the same name. The transition to transistors reduced the power consumed by the tape recorder from 70 to 40 W and made it possible to reduce its mass from 10 to 9.5 kg. Compared to the old model, the new tape recorder is ready for recording and playback immediately after switching on, it still took time to warm up the lamps. The rest of the model parameters have not changed.
