The generator is intended for use as a source of electrical noise signal with a uniform spectrum, normal distribution of instantaneous voltage values and an output level adjustable over a wide range when studying statistical processes of nonlinear distortions of paths, passing complex signals, checking various devices for noise immunity, when carrying out statistical correlation and other types of measurements in acoustics, hydroacoustics, medicine and other fields.
