Tube radios.DomesticSince the 4th quarter of 1929, the Kaluga Electromechanical Plant has been producing the network lamp radio receiver "KEMZ". The KEMZ radio receiver (code name) is a single-lamp (MDS lamp) regenerator operating in the range from 225 to 2000 meters. The output power of the receiver is sufficient to operate the "Record" loudspeaker. Power is supplied from a 120 volt alternating current network. The incandescences of the MDS lamp and the K-2-T rectifier are fed through a step-down transformer, the anode of the rectifier lamp directly from the network, and the MDS lamp has a rectified voltage of about 90 volts.
