"Almaz-401" was created on the basis of the serial model of the "Almaz" radio receiver and differs from it only in external design and minor changes in the design and electrical circuit. All its acoustic and electrical parameters are similar to those of the base Almaz receiver. The plant also produced repair kits for radio workshops and radio amateurs (as a radio designer) consisting of a housing with a loudspeaker, a receiver board (assembled and configured or a board and components) from which it was possible to assemble a receiver similar to the factory one.
