The ARUZ system works in the recording mode in the drive. The drive can also be used for recording and reproducing speech and music phonograms, like a regular tape recorder. Accordingly, the absence of a recording level control and tone controls creates certain inconveniences. All available technical characteristics of the drive "NK-03" are similar to the basic tape recorder "Spring-309".
