Antenna TV room `` Volga ''.

Antennas. Radio and television.AntennasThe tabletop television antenna "Volga" (ATN-6.2) has been produced since 1981 by the Saratov Aggregate Plant. The antenna is made according to the scheme of a shortened fixed symmetrical meter-wave vibrator, in which the vibrator is tuned on any of the 12 channels. The vibrator arms are attached to the base with flexible metal hoses. This method allows you to independently tilt the vibrator arms in different directions, which makes it easier to orient the antenna. Each arm of the vibrator is made of several conductors (rods or tubes with a diameter of 8 mm) connected in parallel in order to reduce the magnitude of the wave impedance of the vibrator and expand the operating frequency band. The length of each arm of the vibrator, including the flexible hose, is 745 mm, i.e. is close to a quarter of the 5 channel wavelength. The vibrator shoulder width at the top is 120 mm. Channel switching is performed using a two-position switch (channels 1-2 and 3-12), which enables or disables the compensating coils.
