Subscriber loudspeaker "Chaika-2".

Subscriber loudspeakers.DomesticSince 1952, the subscriber loudspeaker "Chaika-2" has been produced by the Zvenigorod educational colony for minors. The colony produced several loudspeakers called "The Seagull", which had the same design and dimensions of the case, but some differences in the element base. These differences were highlighted by different markings on the rear wall. The loudspeaker with the designation "ГД 0.2-IV-2" was named "Chaika-2". This AG was a 4th (lowest) class device, distinguished by a speaker with a round basket and a transformer designed for a 30-volt radio transmission network. The peculiarity of all AG "Chaika" of Zvenigorod production is a large carbolite case (226x140x96 mm, weight 1.6 kg), a grill on the front side in the form of three parallel lines and a relief frame in the form of two steps along the perimeter of the window for the speaker. All Zvenigorod "Chaikas" were equipped with a rheostat-type volume control of the same type. AG was designed to receive one wire broadcasting program in the range of audio frequencies 150 ... 5000 Hz.
