Tube radios.DomesticSince the fall of 1953, the VEF-Akkord (M-255) network tube radio receiver has been produced by the Riga State Electrotechnical Plant VEF. The receiver is a 7-tube tabletop superheterodyne of the 2nd class, powered from the mains. Frequency ranges: DV 150 ... 410 kHz, SV 520 ... 1600 kHz, KV1 3.95 ... 9.2 MHz. KV2 9 ... 12.1 MHz. IF = 465 kHz. Sensitivity for DV, SV 200, KV 300 μV. Selectivity on the adjacent channel 26 dB, on the mirror to DV, SV 30, KV 12 dB. The speakers are equipped with ZGD-5-VEF and ZGD-6-VEF loudspeakers. Rated output power 1.5 W. The band of reproducible sound frequencies is 100 ... 4000 Hz. Power consumption 65 W. The dimensions of the receiver are 590x410x340 mm. Weight 18 kg. Compared to the VEF-Akkord radio, produced since 1954, several times less VEF-Akkord radio receivers were produced during the years of production.
