The TV was shown at the Brussels World Exhibition in April 1958. At the end of 1957, the TV was modernized. The appearance has been changed and changes have been made in the design and scheme. The TV received broadcasts on any of the 12 television channels as well as the FM radio station. The device has jacks for a pickup and a tape recorder for recording. The model uses 20 radio tubes, 9 diodes and a 53LK2B kinescope. The sensitivity of the TV is 50 μV. Such sensitivity, together with AGC and stable synchronization, made it possible to conduct good reception of television programs on an outdoor antenna within a radius of up to 100 km from the television center. Selectivity on the adjacent channel 26 dB. Clarity 500 lines vertically, 550 lines horizontally. The number of gradations of shades according to the test table 0249. The frequency band of the sound path is 80 ... 10000 Hz, with an unevenness of 10 dB and the sound pressure developed by two frontal loudspeakers 1GD-9 and two side loudspeakers 4GD-1 - 8 bar. The TV consumed 160 watts from the mains, while receiving FM - 60 watts. The design and circuit solutions of this model were used in subsequent TVs of the Almaz series.
