The Vega RM-235-C stereo cassette recorder replaced the previous Vega-335-stereo model. It consists of a receiver and a tape recorder with a hitchhiking and ARUZ system. A design feature, like the previous model, is the ability to unfasten the speakers, which, thanks to this, can be positioned at a distance from each other. The main unit of the radio tape recorder can be used without speakers; for this, the connection of stereo telephones is provided. The radio has a silent tuning and a fixed tuning for three radio stations in the VHF range. Knock coefficient 0.2%. The range of operating frequencies at the linear output when the tape recorder is operating and receiving in the VHF range of 40 ... 12500 Hz. Sound pressure frequency range 125 ... 10000 Hz. The maximum output power when powered from a network is 2x4 W. The dimensions of the radio are 575x230x165 mm, weight with batteries 7 kg. The "Vega RM-235S-1" radio tape recorder is distinguished by the use of CVLs manufactured by Tanashin, Japan. A small batch of Vega RM-235C radio tape recorders was also produced with Japanese CVLs.
