An operational inconvenience has been removed; now when you turn the switch for the type of work to the left, the tape moves to the left, to the right - to the right, and not vice versa as in previous models. At a speed of 19.05 cm / s, the frequency range is expanded to 35 ... 20,000 Hz, the harmonic distortion is reduced to 3.5%, the rated output power is increased to 2x8, the maximum is up to 2x15 W. There is protection of the transistors of the output stage from short-circuit in the load and overload. Due to the use of porous bronze bearings in CVLs, noise is reduced, and the detonation coefficient is reduced. At a speed of 19.05, detonation is ± 0.15%, at 9.53 ± 0.25%. Wear-resistant magnetic heads are used, germanium transistors are replaced by silicon ones. This has improved the performance and reliability of the tape recorder. The export version of the tape recorder was called "Kashtan".
