Temp-209 black-and-white television receiver.

Black and white televisionsDomesticThe Temp-209 black-and-white television receiver has been produced by the Moscow Radio Plant since 1971. To replace the Temp-6M and Temp-7M TV sets, by 1967 new models of Temp-8 and Temp-9 TVs were developed and prepared for production. The Temp-8 TV on a large 65LK1B kinescope was made in several copies and did not go into production due to the impossibility of establishing industrial production of kinescopes. The TV had a closing door, behind which were the controls. The Temp-9 TV had the latest rectangular picture tube of the 61LK1B type for its time, but due to problems with its release, the TV went into serial production only in the fall of 1971, but already with the name Temp-209. Since 1972, a tube-semiconductor TV of the 2nd class "Temp-209" was produced in two versions, one for reception in the MV and UHF bands "Temp-209D" (LPT61-II-4), the second "Temp-209M '' (LPT61-3) only for reception in the MV range, but with the ability to install a block for reception in the UHF. The Temp-209 TV set in design and technical parameters is not inferior to the best world models of this class. Compared to all produced domestic TVs, the image contrast in detail and the brightness of the Temp-209 TV screen were increased 1.4 times, the clarity and noise immunity of synchronization were improved. The TV has a sensitivity in the MV range of 50 µV, in the UHF 100 µV. The nominal output power of the amplifier supplied to two 1GD36 loudspeakers placed in the lower part of the front panel is 1.5 W, with a reproducible frequency band of 100 ... 10000 Hz. The TV uses a 61LK1B kinescope. It is possible to remotely control brightness, contrast and volume from a wired remote control, as well as record sound on a tape recorder and listen to broadcasts on headphones, while the speakers are working or when they are turned off. The TV can be installed on the floor on a special stand with a height of 450 mm. Case height with table legs 548, width 694, depth 425 mm. TV weight with stand 40 kg. The power consumed from the network is 180 W. The release of the TV was completed on December 31, 1978, and a total of 1 million 348 thousand 400 Temp-209 TV sets were produced.
