It provides: an electronic indicator of the recording and playback level; automatic switching between recording and playback modes, depending on the type of magnetic tape; two sendost heads; the ability to work with three types of magnetic tape; electronic magnetic tape counter; a high indicator of the operating frequency range of 31.5 ... 17000 Hz; low coefficient of detonation 0.18%; low level of noise and interference -64 dB. (On FeCr tape). On the basis of the MP, the "Vilma-106M-stereo" tape recorder with power amplifiers and with a nominal output power of 2x10 W was prepared for release.
