Experienced mechanical TV set with Nipkov's disc "T-1" RIK from the beginning of 1932 produced the Leningrad Radio Plant named after the Comintern. The TV set is designed to receive mechanical television programs with two standards of 30 and 48 lines (domestic and foreign TV) and 12.5 and 25 revolutions of the Nipkov disc. For the normal operation of the television, two more radio receivers were required, one for receiving image signals, the other for sounding the received television program. The built-in magnifying lenses made it possible to obtain an image of 4x6 centimeters.
