Almaz-101 black-and-white television receiver.

Black and white televisionsDomesticThe Almaz-101 black-and-white television receiver has been produced by the Moscow Television Plant since 1959. The Almaz-101 TV set has become a symbiosis of the previous models: Almaz, Rubin-102 and Yantar-A. The electrical circuit of the TV is similar to the TVs "Almaz" and "Rubin-102". Kinescope as in the TVs "Almaz" and "Yantar" type 53LK2B. The speaker system consists of 2 loudspeakers of the 4GD-1 type located on the side walls and two 1GD-9 located in the front. At the end of 1959, the TV was upgraded to the Almaz-102 model (developed by V.M. Khakharev). The entire structure of the device, except for the external design, has been thoroughly redone. In the Almaz-102 model, a custom-made non-serial picture tube of the 63LK2B type was used specially for the plant. With this kinescope, only a few hundred devices were produced in the rest, (and 1765 copies of the Almaz-102 models were produced) 53LK2B kinescope was used. The TV is assembled on 19 radio tubes. The speaker system consists of two 5GD-14 and two 1GD-9R loudspeakers. The TV, like the previous ones, works in 12 television channels and receives VHF-FM radio stations. The TV sensitivity of 50 μV made it possible to receive television studios at a distance of up to 100 kilometers. Power consumption from the network is 150 W when receiving TV and 60 W when receiving VHF FM radio stations. In 1960, the TV, almost repeating the previous one, was modernized into Almaz-103. But due to the high price (470 rubles in 1961), the lack of components for repair, televisions did not receive mass distribution. Almaz (1956) and Almaz-101 TV sets were produced about seven thousand units, and Almaz-102 and 103 TV sets with 2 types of picture tubes - 3000 units.
