Electronic musical instrumentsEntry level and kidsThe "Simona" ("Simona-M") electro-musical instrument has been produced by the "Radiopribor" production association since 1990. Children's EMR "Simona" is a melodic musical synthesizer designed to develop the musical abilities of children of preschool and primary school age. EMP was produced in three versions: "Simona", the same modified model and "Simona-M". The product variants differed only in the keyboard design. Both versions of the products of the "Simona" series had a timbre characteristic of the group of brass instruments. The instrument "Simona-M" had a sound range extended by two octaves and a richer sound timbre. In the upper register - close to the group of brass instruments, on the average - to instruments such as clarinet, in the lower register - organ and oboe. All products in this group had volume control, depth-adjustable frequency vibrato and tone control based on a formant filter, there was also a built-in loudspeaker and a jack for connecting an external amplifier or headphones.
