The radio tape recorder is equipped with Japanese Tanashin CVLs. Pocket A has an auto-reverse function with a reversing head, but does not have a full auto-stop function, there is only an auto-stop for playback. Pocket B has autosearch by pauses and full autostop. In the first modifications, RAS was used on micro-assemblies of its own production, there is a function of automatic sound switching between pockets. The ULF and the receiver are made according to the classic Veg scheme, but the layout of the boards has been changed for the new model. There is a signal level indicator. In the ULF, an equalizer was first used. In the Vega RP-245 receiver, the same receiver board is used as in the radio tape recorder. In 1994, the ML Vega RM-252 S was modernized and became known as Vega RM-252-1S. The design is simplified, micro-assemblies are removed in the RAS, switching between pockets A and B was carried out with a button. The level indicator has been removed.
