Radio receivers with a timer and a clock "Vega-407" and "Electronics R-403".

Portable radio receivers and radios on p / p.DomesticRadio receivers with a timer and clock "Vega-7" since 1981 and "Vega-407" since 1982 have been producing the Berdsk radio plant, to be more precise, the Suzun radio plant "Transistor", opened in 1978 as a branch of the BRZ. The same receivers "Electronics 6-1" since 1981 and "Electronics R-403" since 1982 were produced by the Novosibirsk experimental plant at the Research Institute "Vostok". The radios are based on a Vega-404 radio receiver board with a loudspeaker and a digital timer and clock board. Radio receivers are intended for reception in the ranges of DV, CB and reading of the current time. The receivers have a device that generates a melodic signal that replaces the alarm clock and turns on the receiver at a preset frequency. Power supply from a 220 volt network or from two 3336 batteries. Sensitivity to a magnetic antenna in the DV, SV ranges - 1.0 mV / m and 0.6 mV / m. Selectivity - 20 ... 24 dB. The range of reproducible sound frequencies is 180 ... 3550 Hz. Rated output power from batteries 0.2 W, from a network of 0.4 W. Maximum output power 0.4W and 0.8W. The discreteness of setting the alarm clock is 1 minute. Power consumption from the electrical network is 9 W. The dimensions of any radio receiver are 280x70x180 mm. Weight 1.8 kg. The price of any receiver is 100 rubles. Experienced receivers "Vega-7" and "Electronics 6-1" were produced in several copies, then, after revision, the receivers "Vega-407" and "Electronics R-403" began to be mass-produced. Due to poor buyability, high price and losing brightness of the watch indicator, the Vega-407 model was discontinued at the end of the year. The release of the "Electronics R-403" receiver continued for several more years.
