Radio combine.

Combined apparatus.Radio harvester - this is the name of the installation produced since the fall of 1955 by the Kiev Radio Plant. In "Radiocombine" in one box with dimensions of 940x490x430 mm, trimmed with expensive sorts of wood, a radio receiver, a TV set, a tape recorder, a bass amplifier and an installation for playing gramophone records are assembled. Class 2 radio is an all-wave superheterodyne with two half-extended HF bands from 24.8 to 33.9 m and from 32.6 to 76.0 m, medium and long wave ranges. TV type "KVN-49-M" with a picture tube of type 23LK1B, on the screen of which an image is obtained with dimensions of 180x135 mm. The "Dnepr-5" or "Dnepr-3" tape recorder allows you to directly record speech and music from an SDM-type microphone included in the set of equipment, a radio receiver, as well as re-record gramophone records. The turntable has an asynchronous motor from the Elfa plant and an electromagnetic pickup. The player allows you to play a record of gramophone records and re-record them through a tape recorder. The last copies of the "radio combine" have a mechanism for playing regular and LP records. The bass amplifier with a push-pull output on 6PZS lamps is common for a radio receiver, tape recorder and TV. The output power of the amplifier is 5 W, it is loaded onto a 2GD-5 loudspeaker. The power consumed from the network by the entire installation does not exceed 300 W. The "combine" is equipped with an optical indicator, which serves both for adjusting the recording and playback level, and for tuning the broadcasting receiver. The units of the installation are mounted in the form of two independent blocks on separate metal chassis, on one there is a TV set with an independent power supply unit, and on the other there is an HF part of the radio receiver, a supersonic frequency oscillator for a tape recorder, a power supply unit and a common LF amplifier. The blocks are connected using plug connectors, which provide ease of installation and repair, reliability of connections. The control of the units of the "radio combine" is concentrated on the front side of the box and is carried out with the help of two double and five single handles. The tape drive mechanism is independently controlled by a switch located on the top panel. In the right side of the box there is a hatch, under the cover of which all the auxiliary handles of the TV are concentrated.
