TI-1 black-and-white television receiver.

Black and white televisionsDomesticThe TV "TI-1" was developed at the end of 1937 by Ing. A.A. Raspletin at NIIS and collected several copies by the Central Research Institute of Communications in Moscow. The individual TI-1 TV set is comparable in size to the SI-235 radio receiver. As it turned out in the process of experiments, the TV turned out to be unsuitable for mass production due to the instability of line and frame scanning, poor sensitivity, etc. In 1938, the TV circuit was improved, the shortcomings were eliminated and only a few samples were produced under the name "TI-2" ... During 1939, the most advanced TV "TI-3" was developed, which could receive television programs with the number of picture lines from 240 to 441 on a picture tube with a diameter of 17 centimeters. The TV could also receive radio programs in the range from 15 to 2000 meters. After the release of prototypes and tests, the TV "TI-3" was scheduled for mass production and began to be produced in 1940 at the Leningrad plant "Radist" and partially at the plant Kozitsky under the name "17TN-1". Below is a description of the TV in the magazines "Technology of Youth No. 3 for 1938 and" Technology of Youth No. 7-8 for 1939.
