Network lamp radio gramophone '' Taiga ''.

Electric players and tube electrophonesDomesticSince the beginning of 1956, the Novosibirsk Electromechanical Plant has been producing a network lamp radio gramophone "Taiga" (type RGM-1). The "Taiga" radio gramophone is designed for playing ordinary and long-playing records through the radio gramophone amplifier, in which 6N9S and 6P6S lamps are used + 6Ts5S kenotron in a rectifier. The bass amplifier and loudspeaker of the radio gramophone can also be used for connection to the radio broadcasting network. The radio gramophone is mounted in a suitcase-type box with a removable lid and trimmed with plastic. The installation uses a piezoceramic pickup of the ZPK-55M type and an electric motor DAG-1, with a two-speed gearbox and a gearshift lever. The pickup is connected to the amplifier input and to special jacks located on the side wall of the box. With the help of these jacks, the pickup can also be used to play gramophone records through the amplifier of a radio receiver, with a better acoustic system. In 1959, the radio gramophone was modernized and produced on 6N2P, 6P14P finger radio tubes. Diodes were used in the rectifiers. RG was also produced under the name "Taiga" but RGM-2, therefore the radio gramophone was sometimes referred to as "Taiga-2", although this has not been confirmed. The Taiga radio gramophone of two types was produced in an amount of about 10 thousand copies and was intended mainly for the Komsomol construction projects in Siberia and the Far East as a reward, as well as an object of rest.
