Since 1980 the portable radio receiver &quot;Salyut-001&quot; has been producing the AS Popov Riga Radio Plant. The top-class radio receiver Salyut-001 was created by specialists from the Orbita Design Bureau and the Stern-Radio enterprise. The receiver has high performance, a number of consumer qualities and is not inferior to the best world samples. Electronic tuning and AFC in all ranges, touch switching of fixed settings (there are 8, 4 in VHF and 4 in the rest), the ability to automatically turn off the receiver at a given time, double frequency conversion when receiving in the KB ranges, multi-loop AGC system is not a complete list of circuit features used in the receiver. The receiver is built according to the functional block principle. The PCh-FM unit, the volume and tone control unit, the cassette for the retractable power cord were developed by German specialists, the rest and the receiver design by the Orbita design bureau specialists. The export version was called &#39;&#39; EuroMatic-001 &#39;&#39;, &#39;&#39; Salute-001 &#39;&#39; and differed in other frequencies of the HF and VHF bands.

The radio receiver is intended for reception in the ranges: DV 150 ... 350 kHz, SV-1 525 ... 880 kHz, SV-2 880 ... 1605 kHz, KV-1 3.45 ... 5.8 MHz, KV-2 5 9 ... 6.2 MHz, KV-3 7.1 ... 7.35 MHz, KV-4 9.5 ... 9.8 MHz, KV-5 11.7 ... 12.1 MHz and VHF 65.8 ... 73MHz. In the DV, SV-1 and SV-2 ranges, reception is carried out on separate magnetic antennas, in the KB and VHF ranges on telescopic ones. It is possible to connect a tape recorder (for recording or playback), a turntable, an external speaker and headphones, an external power source. The receiver has switchable BSHN systems in the VHF and AFC range in all ranges, a device for auto-shutdown at a given time, a block of fixed settings for eight radio stations with touch control. The transition from a fixed setting to a smooth setting occurs automatically when you touch the receiver&#39;s smooth tuning knob (with battery power, this is indicated by the illumination of the scale backlight). The receiver can be powered by 6 A-373 elements, an alternating current network through a built-in power supply unit and an on-board vehicle network. The operability is maintained when the power supply is reduced to 5.6 V. Sensitivity to the internal antenna in the ranges: DV 1, SV-1, SV-2 - 0.5, KV-1 ... KV-5 - 0.15, VHF - 0.01 mV / m. From the input of an external antenna, in the ranges: DV, SV-1, SV-2, KV-1 ... KV-5 - 100, VHF - 6 µV. Selectivity on the adjacent channel in the ranges DV, SV-1, SV-2 - 50 dB. Selectivity for the mirror channel in the ranges: DV - 60, SV-1, SV-2 - 64, KV-1 - 26 KV-2 ... KV-5 (on the first mirror channel) about 40 dB, KV-2 .. .KV-5 (on the second) 60 dB, VHF 50 dB. IF in the ranges: DV, SV-1, SV-2, KV-1 - 465 KHz, KV-2 ... KV-5 - 1.84 MHz (first) and 465 KHz (second) VHF - 10.7 MHz ... The range of reproducible sound frequencies in the AM path is 80 ... 4000 Hz, FM 80 ... 12500 Hz. Rated output power1, maximum (from the network) 4 W. Receiver dimensions 480x112x280 mm.
