Musical synthesizer `` ANS ''.

Electronic musical instrumentsProfessionalMusical synthesizer "ANS" (an abbreviation in honor of the great Russian composer Alexander Nikolaevich Scriabin) is the first Russian synthesizer using a unique optical synthesis method developed by the scientist E. Murzin in 1937-1957. A synthesizer is a device that combines three processes: creating, recording and playing music. ANS is a tool that allows you to literally draw music: all the processes taking place in a synthesizer are rather complicated, they consist in the rotation of glass disks with images, the interaction of various mechanisms and lamps. Sounds are pre-drawn on glass disks, after which it is possible to listen to the recorded material. ANS contains an octave of 72 elements. Currently, there is the first and only working copy of this device, which is stored at the Moscow University. Lomonosov and continues to be successfully used by many famous Russian composers.
