Recording time with a tape reel capacity of 350 meters is 4 and 2 hours, respectively, at lower and higher speeds on two tracks. Rated output power 2, maximum 4 watts. The operating frequency range at the linear output at a speed of 4.76 cm / s 63 ... 6300 Hz and 63 ... 12500 Hz at a speed of 9.53 cm / s. THD 4%. Knock ratio 0.2% at higher speed and 1% at lower speed. Power consumption 100 watts. Dimensions of the model - 420x320x190 mm. Weight 12 kg. The tape recorder has three loudspeakers 1GD-28 (1GD-18, 1GD-36). LPM is driven by the KD-3.5 engine. The circuit is assembled on 5 finger lamps. Rectifier AVS-80x260. The tape recorder was produced in two versions. An earlier design of the tape recorder is described in instruction No. 1, and a more modern one in instruction No. 2. A small series from the 1st quarter of 1967, the Astra-4 tape recorder was also produced at the Elektropribor Voronezh plant.
