The VEF R3-1 radio receiver is almost a complete analogue of the Baltika radio receiver, but it was produced first and did not have a name. From February 1950 it became known as "Baltika R3-1". The VEF R3-1 radio receiver has slight differences from the Baltika radio receiver.
