The amplifier "90U-2" is intended for sounding films together with a mobile set (installation) "KUUP-56" and, in addition, for musical and speech sounding of places for demonstration before the start of sessions. After working out the resource and writing off the amplifiers, they were used for domestic purposes. The amplifier has a rated output power of 10 watts, maximum 15 watts. The nominal range of reproducible sound frequencies when watching narrow-film (16 mm) films is 80 ... 4500 Hz, widescreen (35 mm) 80 ... 6000 Hz, when playing sound phonograms in a domestic environment 80 ... 8000 Hz. Powered by 110 VAC directly or via a step-down transformer. Power consumption 110 watts.
