The Druzhba console TV type (ZK-38) contains 20 radio tubes and differs from the Volna TV (ZK-36) only by the use of a 53LK6B kinescope, an improved acoustic system and a more rectangular case. Image size 345x460 mm. Resolution in the center of the screen: horizontal 500, vertical 550 lines. The nominal sound power of the low frequency amplifier is 1 W. The speaker consisting of two front loudspeakers 5GD-14 and two side loudspeakers 1GD-9 provides high sound quality. The TV is equipped with a wired remote control that allows you to change the brightness and volume at a distance of up to 2.5 m. The polished wooden case is trimmed with precious rocks. Legs can be screwed into the case allowing you to use the TV without a table. Due to the use of new radio tubes in the PTC unit, the sensitivity is increased to 50 μV. The speaker system and sound channel effectively reproduces the audio frequency range of 60 ... 12000 Hz. The frequency range for TV reception is 80 ... 7000 Hz. Power consumption 165 watts. The dimensions of the device are 960x715x500 mm. Weight 47 kg. The retail price of the TV is 480 rubles. The TV was designed to be released in two design options (the first option is in the photo below on the left), but the 2nd option went into production. The speaker system of the first version consists of 2 loudspeakers: front 1GD-9 and side 4GD-1. The main control knobs - volume control and power switch, tone control, contrast control, brightness control, are located on the front wall of the case. On the right wall of the case, in a niche, there are knobs for the TV channel switch, local oscillator settings and clarity correction. Auxiliary control knobs are located on the back of the case. The dimensions of the case with legs of the first option are 992x594x453 mm, weight 49 kg.
