Subscriber loudspeaker "Moskvich".

Subscriber loudspeakers.DomesticSince 1952 and 1954 the subscriber loudspeaker "Moskvich" produced the Moscow district "Red October". The Moskvich subscriber loudspeaker was developed and put into production at the Moscow Radio Plant Krasny Oktyabr on the basis of a case from the Moskvich radio receiver produced by the same plant since 1949. On the 1st photo of the subscriber loudspeaker, you can clearly see the plugs covering the holes of the volume control and settings of the serial radio receiver. Subsequently, a specially made case was used for the subscriber loudspeaker, in which the design of the front panel was also changed (2nd photo). The Moskvich subscriber loudspeaker was produced for subscribers of the city of Moscow, so it was designed for use in radio networks with a line voltage of 15 volts. Since 1954, the plant has been producing a loudspeaker with universal power supply, also called Moskvich. It had the ability to switch the input voltage to 15 and 30 V, which made it possible to use the loudspeaker throughout the USSR.
