Black and white televisionsDomesticSince 1964 "Snowball" TV has been produced by the Omsk Television Plant. The first model from the "Snowball" series was a TV with the name "Snowball-64", the trial production of which began in October 1964. Several hundred copies were produced, which were distributed to the best workers of the plant for intensive use, identifying deficiencies and eliminating them. Since 1965, the serial production of the TV with the name `` Snowball '' began. Unified (UNT-35) TV of the 3rd class, with the lyrical name `` Snowball '' is designed to receive TV programs on any of the 12 channels. The TV uses a 35LK2B kinescope with an image size of 380x490 mm, 14 lamps and 14 diodes. Sensitivity 200 μV. Rated output power 0.5 W. A highly efficient AGC, AFC and F line scan are used. It is possible to listen to the sound on the headphones with the loudspeaker turned off, to record the sound on the tape recorder. AC power supply. Power consumption 140 watts. The dimensions of the model are 490x380x510 mm. Weight 25 kg. The TV was produced in several versions of the front panel design. From the beginning of 1966, the plant began producing the Snezhok-1 TV set, and then, after a short time, the Snezhok-2 TV set, which, apart from the design options, did not differ from the basic one. In 1967 a new model "Snezhok-301" was on the assembly line of the plant. If the number 64 in the 1st model meant the year of manufacture, and the TVs "Snowball-1" and "Snowball-2" were the 1st and 2nd models, then the numbers 301 in the 3rd model meant the 3rd class of the TV, and 01 is the 1st modernization. Here, an improved CNT-35-1 circuit is used, which was developed for the "Record-67" TV. The TV uses a new shortened kinescope 35LK6B. In 1968 there was again a new model, Snezhok-302, which will repeat the previous one without changes. In 1969 the plant begins production of the last model "Snezhok-303", which, apart from the name, does not differ from the previous one. All three models of the 300 series were produced in a similar, but each in its own design. Since 1970, the plant has switched to the production of TV sets with the name "Quartz".
