Portable radio receivers and radios on p / p.DomesticThe portable radio receiver "VEF-206" (VEF-206) has been produced by the Riga Electrotechnical Plant "VEF" since 1973. The VEF-206 radio receiver is an export version of the VEF-202 receiver. The radio was also produced under the names "VEF-206" VEGA and "VEF-206" Reneva electronic, possibly under other names. The model has ranges of DV, MW and short wave subranges from 13 to 187.5 meters. The free position of the range switch in the VEF-202 radio receiver is occupied here by the sixth HF band. Some models did not have a LW range, and the HF sub-ranges were shifted up. The receiver is powered by six R-20 (A-373) elements. The current consumption in the absence of a signal does not exceed 14 mA, and at the rated output power it reaches 50 mA. A set of fresh batteries at an average volume is sufficient for 200 hours of operation. The dimensions of the VEF-206 radio are 305x240x105 mm, and its weight is about 2.7 kg.
