The portable semiconductor receiver of the 2nd complexity group `` Ocean RP-225 '' is designed to receive programs of broadcasting stations in nine ranges: DV, SV (2), HF (5) and VHF. The HF band includes 16 and 19 meter sub-bands. Switching the receiver on and off, switching bands and tuning to the frequency of the radio station is electronic. The receiver has such auxiliary devices as: AFC, a system of silent tuning on VHF, indicators of the switched on range, a power indicator, an indicator of low battery power when operating in stand-alone mode, manual adjustment of the bass and treble timbres. The power supply is universal, from an electrical network of 220 volts or six elements of the A-343 type.
