EF is intended for reproduction of gramophone records from regular and LP records. Any audio signal source and stereo phones can be connected to it. The set includes small-sized speakers - 6АС-2. Each speaker is equipped with dynamic heads 10GD-34 and ZGD-2. EPU - IIEPU-62SP-01 is equipped with a GZKU-631RA head with a diamond needle, and later MF-100. In contrast to the manufactured ones, an overload indicator light and a high-pass filter are introduced into the microphone. Since 1977 the "Melody-103V-stereo" electrophone has been produced, and since 1979 the "Melody-103M-stereo" has been produced.
