Set `` Electronic constructor ''.

Radio and electrical constructors, sets.Multifunctional devicesThe set "Electronic Designer" (MRK-1) was created in 1971 by the Leningrad Experimental Plant at the Research Institute "Elektrostandart". From about 40 cubes of such a constructor, in each of which a resistor, capacitor or transistor is installed, you can assemble more than 25 radio receiving circuits and understand the essence of the operation of all elements and nodes. If you add a dozen more cubes, then you can assemble a number of pulse circuits, understand the essence of the operation of an electronic computer and even assemble its main components. And with 100 cubes, you can already do serious creative work in the design bureaus of the industry. At the same time, without soldering irons, wire cutters and wires, any circuit can be assembled in 2 minutes. The electronic designer will soon be produced by the industry, but for now, in every circle of radio electronics, you can make it yourself and apply it in practice. The most difficult thing in an electronic constructor is the construction of cubes with radio components. Cubes should be made so that parts can be quickly and reliably connected into a circuit. It is best to make plastic cubes 3.5x3.5 cm in size and mount 3 ... 4 magnets in each, attracting the cubes to each other and pressing brass or silver-plated contact plates fixed on the cubes. The cubes themselves stretch towards each other and the electrical circuit grows quickly. A small-scale industrial version of the "Electronic Designer" has been produced by the plant under the name "MRK-1" (Modular Radio Designer, 1st) since the fall of 1971, but unfortunately there are no photos or descriptions for it.
