Black and white televisionsDomesticThe television receiver of the black-and-white image "Topaz" from the beginning of 1961 to 1963 inclusively produced the Moscow TV Equipment Plant. The author of the development is Ing. V.Ya. Rotenberg. A total of 1,115 copies were made. The TV was prepared for release at the end of 1959. The only TV "Topaz" in its category, produced on the basis of TV "Moscow", a projection TV, assembled on 29 lamps, is designed to receive b / w images and view them on a 900x1200 mm screen. The TV set can be used to receive radio stations in the VHF range. The sensitivity of 75 µV allows receiving to an outdoor antenna up to 100 km from the studio. High-quality sounding with an amplifier power of up to 10 W and a reproducible frequency band of 60 ... 12000 Hz is provided by speakers of 5 loudspeakers, 2 of which (4GD-1) are installed frontally on the front panel, and 3 others (2 types 2GD-3 and VGD- 1) designed for reproducing medium and high frequencies are installed in a special case that is attached to the frame of the projection screen. The large screen and powerful sound make it possible to use the TV in large rooms. The installation is performed in a floor design. Case made of fine wood. An aluminum screen in a frame with dimensions of 1045x1345x70 mm with two folding stands is placed 2.5 meters from the TV. The control knobs are the same as on the Rubin-102 TV. The installation uses a 6LK1B type kinescope with an optical-mechanical system. There is a wired remote control for brightness and volume control. The weight of the installation is 53, the screen is 17 kg. Power consumption from el. networks 270 W for television and 100 W for radio.
