Portable cassette tape recorder Spring-306.

Cassette tape recorders, portable. The cassette recorder "Vesna-306" has been produced since 1972 by the Zaporozhye EMZ "Iskra" and its branch. The tape recorder has established itself as one of the best domestic cassette tape recorders in its class. The tape recorder uses an original CVL with an indirect drive of the drive shaft, powered by a contactless electric motor. It is distinguished from all other cassette CVLs by the presence of 2 flywheels connected by a common belt, which excludes fluctuations in the speed of the magnetic tape during operation in transport and on the move. The design of the rewinding unit with a friction roller eliminates belt breakage and ensures reliable adhesion to the flywheel and to the feeding and receiving units during rewinding. The advantages include a clear fixation of the cassette, which makes the frequency response unchanged. The LPM has a recording blocking device. The electric part of the tape recorder is made on modern transistors, has a high-frequency tone, an indicator of the recording level and power control, an output power switch for two positions and a number of other conveniences. Everything described is also relevant for the "Spring-305" tape recorder, but the "Spring-306" tape recorder, as conceived by the designers, should be the first. Since the fall of 1972, the "Vesna-306" tape recorder has also been produced by the Perm Electrical Appliance Plant, but they have produced about 3000 devices in total.
