The complex of audio-video components in a modern car is no longer surprising, and in the 30s even the presence of a radio receiver in a car was considered the height of luxury. The very first Soviet car radio was the AI-656. The name stands for: "Automotive, Individual, 6-circuit 5-lamp, 1936 release".
