Network tube radios "Araz" and "Araz-M".

Network tube radiosDomesticSince 1953 and 1956, the Baku Radio Plant has been producing tube network radios "Araz" and "Araz-M". '' Araz '' in translation from Azerbaijani into Russian is the river Araks. Radiola consists of 6 lamps; 6A7, 6B8S, 6N9S, 6P6S, 6E5S and 6Ts5S of a radio receiver and a two-speed EPU, with an asynchronous motor and a piezoelectric pickup with corundum needles. Ranges: DV and SV standard, KV1 3.95 ... 8.15 MHz and KV2 9.99 ... 12.2 MHz. Sensitivity at DV, SV 200, at KV 300 µV. Selectivity 26 dB. IF 465 kHz. The range of sound frequencies when playing a gramme is 200 ... 7000 Hz, when receiving radio stations 200 ... 3500 Hz. The rated output power of the 1GD-6 loudspeakers is 1.5 W. Power consumption 50 W during operation of the EPU and 35 W during radio reception. On the left, on the side of the case, there are tone and volume controls, on the right there are settings, a range switch and a record playback mode. In 1956, the model was upgraded to the Araz-M radio. With a different design, its electrical circuit and design have hardly changed. On the basis of the "Araz" radio receiver of the 1953 model to expand the range of products, the "Baku-55" receiver was created, similar in design to the "Araz" radio tape.
