Tape recorders are designed for recording and playback of phonograms through internal and external speakers. The models have volume and tone controls, tape meter counter, power control by a dial indicator. The tape recorders differ from other devices of the same class by the presence of ARUZ, a tape-type switch, which ensures the best recording mode on Fe, FeCr, Cr tapes and an auto-stop that returns the CVL to the Stop position when the tape stops and breaks. The design of the tape recorders is block-modular. LPM, amplifier block, regulator and power supply are connected by connectors. LPM of tape recorders is made according to a single-motor kinematic scheme. In the chain of transmission of rotation from the flywheel to the under-cassette units during rewinding, a friction clutch is used, due to which the inertia of the flywheel is used to drive the hitchhiking mechanism. The tape recorder "Skif-303" is a stereophonic apparatus. Its electrical part is made on an integrated circuit, 21 transistors, 2 diode assemblies and 7 diodes. The scheme of monophonic models is made on 1 microcircuit, 16 transistors, one diode assembly and 8 diodes. A feature of tape recorders is the complete absence of coil products in the circuit, with the exception of the power supply unit. All tape recorders are powered by 127, 220 V or 6 A-343 batteries. The main characteristics of the models: the speed of the magnetic tape is 4.76 cm / s; detonation coefficient of CVL - ± 0.4%; working range of sound frequencies on LV - 60 ... 10000 Hz; range of bass and treble tone control - 8 dB; rated output power when powered from a network of 1.3 W; stand-alone source 1 W. The dimensions of any tape recorder are 204 x 258 x 75, and the weight is 2.7 kg. The tape recorders were not mass-produced, at another, unidentified plant, only an experimental batch of "Skif-303" tape recorders was produced, but due to the huge price for 1979 of 330 rubles, the tape recorder was practically not bought and its production was discontinued.
