Reel-to-reel tape recorder "Aydas-9M".

Tape recorders and radio tape recorders. The reel-to-reel tape recorder "Aidas-9M" has been produced by the Vilnius Radio Engineering Plant "Elfa" since July 1, 1966. The tape recorder was created on the basis of the "Aidas" tape recorder and, as a predecessor, operates from a single "KD-2" type engine. Belt speed 9.53 cm / sec, detonation coefficient 0.3%. The tape recorder is designed to use reels No. 15 or 18, which can hold 250 and 350 meters of magnetic tape of type 6, respectively. The duration of continuous recording in the first case is 2x45 minutes, in the second 2x60 minutes. The sensitivity from the microphone is 3 mV, the pickup is 250 mV, the radio line is 10 V. The voltage at the linear output is 250 mV. The tape recorder records and reproduces the range of sound frequencies at the linear output - 40 ... 14000 Hz, on its own loudspeaker 100 ... 10000 Hz. Rated output power 1 W, with THD at the linear output ~ 4%. Dynamic range 44 dB. The tape recorder is powered by 220 or 127 V AC, consuming 80 watts. The dimensions of the tape recorder are 400x300x185 mm, its weight is 12 kg. The circuit of the tape recorder is made in a printed way. In August 1967, the electric circuit of the tape recorder was revised in connection with the requirement of the new GOST, and was accordingly improved and at the same time significantly simplified. The signal-to-noise ratio of the entire path has been improved, the frequency range on a tape of type 10 at the linear output has been expanded to 30 ... 16000 Hz. The speaker is equipped with a 1GD-28 loudspeaker. The design is the same as for the base model. The first batch (~ 300 pcs) of "Aidas-9M" tape recorders was released in design and with the name "Elfa-65".
