The unified color TV set '' Rainbow-703 / D '' (type ULPTSI-59-II-1) was produced in a desktop version with various options for finishing the front panel. It provides reception of color and black-and-white transmissions on any of the 12 channels of the MW range and a TV with the index "D" and on any channel of the UHF range. The TV is based on the Raduga-701 model with a 59LKZTS picture tube. The acoustic system consists of one 4GD-7 loudspeaker and two 1GD-36 loudspeakers. Rated output power 1.5 W. The controls are located on the front panel. The model has AGC, APCG, FPF and F, auto-maintaining of the image size during voltage fluctuations and auto-demagnetization of the screen and the picture tube mask when turned on. To improve the quality of reproduction of small details when receiving a black-and-white image, an automatic color recognition device has been introduced. It is possible to connect a tape recorder to record the sound of broadcasts, listen to it on headphones, as well as connect an external video signal from service devices and a video recorder. It is possible to install connectors for connecting a remote control. The TV set is assembled from functionally complete blocks. The units can be extended and folded out, which allows inspections during repairs without disconnecting them. The dimensions of the TV are 560x545x780 mm, its weight is 60 kg. The TV `` Rainbow-704 / D '', produced since the 1st quarter of 1976, is similar to that described above, with the exception of replacing the corner controls on the panel with sliders.
