Black and white televisionsDomesticThe television receiver for b / w images "Zarya" from the 1st quarter of 1957 to 1959 was produced by the Leningrad plant named after Kozitsky and plant No. 443 of the Ministry of Radio Industry. The TV of the 3rd class `` Zarya '' was conceived as massive and cheap with a price of 118 rubles, after the 1961 reform. It provided reception on any of the 5 channels, had 12 lamps, 5 diodes, a 35LK2B kinescope. Image size - 210x280 mm. Sensitivity - 750 μV. The loudspeaker 0.5GD-10 gave a loud sound for a small room. Horizontal clarity 350, vertical 400 lines. Metal case, painted. TV dimensions - 360x320x390 mm, weight 17 kg. Power consumption 130 watts. The circuit and design of the TV turned out to be unsuccessful, which caused poor synchronization, poor sound quality, low volume, the effect of brightness and contrast on the picture size, low sensitivity and mains voltage hitting the case due to autotransformer power supply, inconvenient repair. This forced the designers to modernize the model in 1958. The new TV "Zarya-M" was produced by the plant number 443. The modernization did not give an effect, the TV was again improved and since 1959 it was produced under the name "Zarya-2". It was not possible to realize the price of the TV set at 118 rubles. In 1959, a TV set cost 1,400 rubles, which is 140 rubles after the 1961 reform.
