`` Wave '' black-and-white television receiver.

Black and white televisionsDomesticAt the beginning of 1954, the television receiver of the black-and-white image "Volna" was produced in an experimental series (~ 30 copies) at the plant No. 528 (Moscow Radio Plant). Experienced small-sized TV "Volna", among other experienced ones, was intended for mass production. In February 1954, a general meeting of workers of radio factories, radio industry and many interested engineers and designers of television and radio equipment was held in Moscow. Prototypes of TVs were demonstrated. The Volna TV was designed according to a single-channel direct amplification scheme with 10 radio tubes and a round glass picture tube of the 31LK2B type with a beam deflection angle of 53 degrees and an image size of 240x180 mm. The TV differed from other models in its small dimensions, weight, high sensitivity for receiving at a distance of up to 30 kilometers, and consumed 150 watts of power. For a number of technical and organizational reasons, the TV was never put into mass production. In this design, the plant in 1954 and since 1955 produced televisions under the name "Temp" and "Temp-2" with other picture tubes and e. schemes.
